Current Track Olympics Standings (after week 1):

The Sanborn Track and Field Program is looking forward to an exciting, challenging season. To make a quality team a reality requires dedication, cooperation, and teamwork from all involved in the program: athletes, parents, and coaches.

This is what we expect from all of our athletes:

- Maintain a positive attitude about yourself, your sport, your team, and your school. A positive attitude is the first building block to being successful at anything.

- Commitment - you are expected to be at all mandatory practices and to be available for every meet on the schedule (including vacations).  You MUST communicate with the coaches if you need to miss a practice or meet for any reason.  Missing a meet can result in missing additional competitions.

- Learn about your sport. There are many magazines, books, and websites dedicated to track & field. The more knowledgeable you are about running the better runner you'll be.  We will post new information here for you to check out!

- Maintain a healthy lifestyle...eat for success!  Track and field is a very physically demanding sport. Successful athletes eat properly, drink lots of water, and get plenty of rest.  You should try your best to get 8 - 10 hours of sleep per night so that you are well-rested for school and for track.
